AIDS Walk 2010

The Young Health Professional Society is pleased to partner with Teens Against the Spread of AIDS (TASA) in the 2010 AIDS Walk Washington. The event will benefit the Whitman-Walker Clinic and other HIV/AIDS service organizations in the District. As a community partner, TASA will receive donations raised through our team to support critical programs serving women, youth and children and the lifesaving work of the Whitman-Walker Clinic!

AIDS Walk Washington is a fundraising 5K walk benefiting HIV/AIDS programs in the Washington, DC community. The event will take place the morning of Saturday, October 2, 2010 in the heart of the nation's capitol. Please join us by participating as a walker or donor. Your participation and generosity will make a big difference in the lives of families affected by HIV/AIDS. Donate and more info

Instructions on how to Register with YHPS and TASA:

To walk October 2nd you must register at: http://www.aidswalkwashington.org

When you register:

  • Be sure to join TEAM Teens Against the Spread of AIDS (TASA) by selecting us from the team drop-down menu during your registration process.
  • Be sure to complete all the information requested in order to
    set up your personal web page (this is separate from the TASA Team page)
  • Really personalize it. Maybe upload a picture of yourself!
  • Then ask your friends and family to donate. The instructions you
    should give them in your fundraising pitch is:
    1. Go to http://www.aidswalkwashington.org
    2. Click on Sponsor Participant
    3. Enter my name
    4. Click on my link
    5. and Donate!
